With many of us, gifts we have been born with can lie dormant for years. Sometimes it is out of the pressure of difficult situations that we recognise opportunities to deploy those gifts. When the author found that her role as caregiver constrained her ability to continue itinerant evangelical work, she sought God’s guidance as to what she could do. She didn’t have to wait long.
